From May 1st to November 1st, we’ll gift you the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard starting from your very first night!

With the AktivCard, you have access to around 40 free services and many attractive bonus offers:
 

  • Cable Cars Included: Ride for free as often as you like to the Höss in Hinterstoder, the Wurzeralm in Spital am Pyhrn, or the Wurbauerkogel in Windischgarsten.
  • Nature at its Best: Explore the Dr. Vogelgesang Gorge (Upper Austria’s longest accessible gorge) or join guided Ranger tours in the Kalkalpen National Park.

Skiing & Winter Fun in Pyhrn-Priel

The Pyhrn-Priel holiday region – Hinterstoder Wurzeralm – is a hidden gem for winter sports enthusiasts.

Hinterstoder – Höss

  • 40 km of slopes (blue, red, black)
  • Altitude: 600–2,000 m
  • Pure skiing adventure!


Wurzeralm

  • 22 km of slopes
  • Altitude: 810–1,870 m
  • Freeride & deep snow in the Frauenkar area


Ski Touring
The Pyhrn-Priel region is a true paradise for ski tourers of all levels.

  • Großer Priel (2,515 m) – the region’s king tour: alpine, challenging, and spectacular scenery. Only for experienced tourers under stable weather and avalanche conditions.
  • Dietl-Höhe (approx. 1,650 m) – lesser-known but rewarding tour above Hinterstoder, ideal under safe conditions with varied terrain.
  • Siegestal (up to approx. 1,800 m) – gentle and scenic tour, perfect for beginners or as a half-day tour. Popular for its peaceful atmosphere.
  • Wildalm (approx. 1,900 m) – challenging tour in the Totes Gebirge with breathtaking views. Depending on the route, also suitable for experienced beginners.

The Priel Region is a paradise for all cycling enthusiasts – from leisure cyclists to mountain bikers and road cyclists.
